Guide for streaming audio to DietPi via Bluetooth?

Is there a guide for how to use the built in bluetooth to stream audio?

\

  1. I’ve turned BT on via the DietPi software
  2. Ran
$ sudo bluetoothctl

in a terminal
3. Turned on an agent, set it as a default, and paired my phone

However,

  1. I can’t reconnect once the link is closed
  2. The entry for my phone indicates the connection is only for contact sharing (which isn’t what I want).

within bluetoothctl, I get

[bluetooth]# show
Controller B8:27:EB:4E:27:99

        Alias: kitchen
        Class: 0x000000

        Pairable: yes

        UUID: A/V Remote Control (0000110e-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)
        UUID: PnP Information (00001200-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)

        Modalias: usb:v1D6Bp0246d052B
        Discovering: no

And now I’m lost. Is there an easier way to do this via the DietPi interface?

There’s a few guides around the net which shouldn’t take much tweaking to work with DietPi. Have a look at this one:

The first thing you’ll need to do is change your device class in the bluetooth config file which tells you phone that the pi is an audio device
