Dpkg error not enought space even there is a space

Hi,

I recently encoutered strange error when installing new software like mopidy

Setting up python3-alsaaudio (0.8.4-1.1+b3) ...
dpkg: cannot write to log file '/var/log/dpkg.log': No space left on device
dpkg: cannot write to log file '/var/log/dpkg.log': No space left on device
dpkg: cannot write to log file '/var/log/dpkg.log': No space left on device
dpkg: cannot write to log file '/var/log/dpkg.log': No space left on device
Setting up mopidy-alsamixer (2.0.1-1) ...
dpkg: cannot write to log file '/var/log/dpkg.log': No space left on device
dpkg: cannot write to log file '/var/log/dpkg.log': No space left on device
dpkg: cannot write to log file '/var/log/dpkg.log': No space left on device
dpkg: cannot write to log file '/var/log/dpkg.log': No space left on device
E: Write error - ~LZMAFILE (28: No space left on device)

I check card and it is 27GB free out of 32 so I do not get it why this error exists?

Your log directory seems to be full. Apt upgrade fails "No space left on device" - #2 by Joulinar

Ok, so why is not emptied by itself like by rotation to last log only or something?

Maybe it is filling up fast. Check what is inside using the command I posted on the other thread

Thx I have found it. Sonarr is creating huge logs but I have only Info set in sonarr not debbug and there is no option to turn to log off completely. So what kind of stack what to do?

did you check sonarr logs? There would need to be a reason why sonarr is creating them.

Oh, it is weird Sonarr does not have permission to: /mnt/ssd1/media/tv/ !

I have fixed it and all good, thanks for direction.

Cheers
