# Dietpi v117

Hi there,
after update to v117 in my rpi2, i have a few problems…
i can’t install dietpi-software (is always ethernet offline) and have problems (awk not found)

This seems to an issue I reported earlier regarding to V117 not working on python urllib, and apt-get.

how can i solve?
try install python3 but…

Hi,
Thanks for the bug report.
We are looking into the issue you are experiencing, but we need more information.
**Please can you run the following commands and paste the results:**
[https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issues/326#issuecomment-218472084](https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issues/326#issuecomment-218472084)
**After the above is completed:**
- reboot your system
- Try running dietpi-software again
**Can you also answer the following questions:**
- Did these issues only occur after running dietpi-update?
- Can you remember what version of DietPi you were running, prior to the update?
- Have you manually installed any software from apt-get, or other means (eg: not using dietpi-software)? If so, which?
- Have you modified any configuration files on the system (eg: nano /etc/apt/sources.list)?
- What SD card are you using (eg: Sandisk Ultra 8GB)?
- What PSU are you running (eg: RPi 5v 2amp official PSU)?

- Have you manually installed any software from apt-get, or other means (eg: not using dietpi-software)? If so, which? Couchpotato, plexmediaserver
- Have you modified any configuration files on the system (eg: nano /etc/apt/sources.list)? NOP
- What SD card are you using (eg: Sandisk Ultra 8GB)? KINGSTON 16Gb
- What PSU are you running (eg: RPi 5v 2amp official PSU)? Official YES
