dietpi.txt automatic setup validation

I’d like to get dietpi.txt going so I can automatically spin up a new installation. Is there a tool to verify / validate dietpi.txt ‘recipes’ before plugging in and running; then adjusting, then running; etc etc ?

Is there something with this chunk of my dietpi.txt ?

# Software to automatically install
# - List of available software IDs: https://github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/wiki/DietPi-Software-list
# - Add as many entries as you wish, one each line.
# - DietPi will automatically install all pre-reqs (e.g. ALSA/X11 for desktops etc)
# - E.g. the following (without the leading "#") will install the LXDE desktop automatically on first boot:
# OpenSSH Client
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=0
# Samba Client
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=1
# Git
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=17
# Kodi
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=31
# Transmission
#AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=44
# qBittorent
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=46
# SyncThing
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=50
# Fail2Ban
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=73
# Samba Server
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=96
# OpenSSH Server
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=105
# Sonarr
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=144
# Radarr
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=145
# Jackett
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=147
# HTPC Manager
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=155
# UnRAR
AUTO_SETUP_INSTALL_SOFTWARE_ID=170

There is no tool that can validate your dietpi.txt. It simply did not exist. What is the issue with your setup?

No problem, thanks for confirming. Hoepfully this post might answer the same question for others in future.
