Dietpi on QuartzA - Etching with Balena - no dietpi.txt and no fat partition

I can’t get dietpi to boot on a new Quartz64A, while I had no problems with any RockPro64…

I downloaded the bullseye image and flashed it to a 32GB emmc - flashing is fine, but there is no FAT partition to change dietpi.txt at all… it just has a Linux partition. Consequently, once the board boots up, it does not find the respective files…

Bug or Feature? Or am I just making a stupid mistake?
Thx…

PS: same with bookworm btw…
