DietPi backups system independant?

Hi @ all,

can I simply restore a VM dietpi backup on a raspi machine? Are dietpi backups created using dietpi-backup interchangeable?

Simple answer: NO

This is not goanna work. A dietpi-backup is going to backup the entire system including the whole operation system. A VM is running on a completely different chip architecture and such a backup can’t be used/restored on a SBC.
