DietPi + ADSB.im(software) or Image with DietPi from ADSB.im?

I would like to set up another adsb-feeder with an RPi Zero 2W and I would like to use adsb.im as the feeder. I know how to install DietPi and adsb.im under Software.
But now there is also an image at adsb.im using DietPi.

In your opinion, which is better or is the difference not noticeable at all? Is the image still optimized for the use of adsb.im? If I then want to use ZeroTier, shouldn’t it matter which image I use?

Let’s ask @dirkhh directly. I guess he could give some advice/ explanation

I’ll give that a try.

The adsb.im image is in no way superior to running the software as an app under full DietPi. The focus of the image is to allow people who aren’t comfortable with the command line, who maybe aren’t very technical, to be able to get the software up and running.
Every single thing that you can do with the full image, you can do with the app running on DietPi. And additionally you can do a LOT more if you are running this on top of your own DietPi install. My guess is that most people skillful enough to be engaged here should be perfectly fine simply running this as an app.
And things like Zerotier, Tailscale, etc, are just as easily set up with DietPi. With much more flexibility.
