On a fresh install of Dietpi bookworm on a nuc6cayh, after getting everything setup and working, and now after the latest minor update analog output has gone from Kodi settings. It is still listed by aplay -l and still works fine for squeezelite and raspotify. Any ideas why or how to get it back? I am a novice but can happily input commandline stuff and edit conf files if needed.

No, Kodi wasn’t updated
you did some update as stated above. If this was a DietPi update, it will trigger an apt upgrade as well. Means, all apt manages packages will get updated like kernel or kodi.
