I am currently running AdGuard Home and Unbound on a Raspberry Pi 5 (192.168.50.3) as well as using a ASUS BE88U router which is on merlin firmware, was wondering what settings should i set on the router as well as the DNS settings within the AdGuard Home web GUI.

I cannot seem to get the hostname of all the devices. My main network IP is 192.168.50.x, while the IP of my guest network which is on another vlan is 192.168.52.x. I used DNS director for guest network to point to the IP of my raspberry pi.

Can anyone advise on the optimal settings for both router as well as in adguard home so that all hostname of devices can properly show up on the client list in adguard home?

I do not have experience with AdGuard, but in Pihole you need to use conditional forwarding to see the client hostnames and not onyl IPs.
